The Tempiro app shows you the hourly price in your area, regardless of which energy company you have. The app also allows you to activate hourly price control of the Smart Plug. You choose how many hours per day an appliance needs to be on, the cheapest hours are selected each day, and the devices are switched off during the most expensive hours.

Simple - plug and play
Tempiro’s Smart Plug is simply plugged into the wall socket and they are controlled wirelessly either from Tempiro’s central unit or another Smart Home gateway that connects everything to the Internet.
The powerful unit can control up to 16 A, 3680 W at 230 V.

Tempiro’s app not only saves you money, but also reduces carbon dioxide emissions from energy production. The hours of the day when energy is most expensive are when the power plants with highest emissions are used, especially in winter. If everyone would turn down their electric heating for a while in the morning and early evening, the need for oil-fired power plants and electricity imports would be drastically reduced.

If you have an hourly electricity tariff, Tempiro’s solution can automatically turn down the heating or schedule the water heater and other gadgets to turn off during the hours when electricity is expensive. You can choose the number of hours per day that e.g. the water heater needs to be on, and then the system selects the cheapest hours.
